ALEX SALVADOR

Amsterdam born and raised, Alex Salvador was quite young when he started studying music at the Amsterdam Music Academy and learned to play the guitar. Alex grew up in a musical environment and was influenced by House music from the 80's and early 90's, so it's no wonder that classic signature House sounds can be heard in his style. At the age of 14 he bought his own turntables, got some boxes full of 2-Step and UK-Garage records from a DJ friend and started performing.

These styles have a great impact on the way he mixes records and produces electronic music.

Alex's music can be described best as a club-style musical blend between soulful, uplifting tracks, and Deep / Chicago/ Jackin' House.

BLACK TULIP

Black Tulip the pioneers of Soulful House music in the Netherlands are dedicated lovers of the legendary sound of the New York club "Paradise Garage".

Profound songs with deep bass heavy grooves, soul embracing vocals, powerful emotional Hammond organ and Strings arrangements are the Black Tulip trademarks.

“Queen of Night”, the new track by Black Tulip is the departure of exactly where the group stopped with “A song of Love” and “Jam on it”, Soulful House music with vibrant and uplifting vocals.

“Queen of Night” will follow the re-release of the original 12" E.P.'s with new remixes of “Jam on it”, “A song of Love” and “I want your Love Supreme”, the first tracks in its genre released in the Netherlands as back as 1990 by the Amsterdam based House label TINK! Records.

Black Tulip new tracks will be released this Summer and you may expect to see the group perform at a launch party at ADE convention.

THYONE GIRLS

Thyone Girls are young women followers of Dyonisus the ancient Greek god of Joy and Ecstasy. Thyone Girls release a new Cosmic Energy Disco House that drive folks amok at secret rave parties.

'Keep on Pumpin' the first Thyone Girls release, can be best described as House-NRG, it's full of emotion, drive and excitement, it makes the flames on even the most frenzied of dance floors rise higher, as quoted on the USA CD release on Tribal America. Thyone Girls first releases were recorded and produced at the Portland Studios in Amsterdam for Diskotech Recordings - TINK! Records.

The FUNKY MOOD ORCHESTRA

The Funky Mood Orchestra sleazy and funky grooves started out as a simple grinding jam session inspired by 60's and 70's funk outfits one late Saturday night after the club was closed and the musicians were exhausted but in high spirits. A night Funk will never forget!

The Funky Mood Theme is a raw underground dance track with a jazzy feel and a slow loungy beat, a laid back instrumental funk groove for the night shift.

Get into it!

In 2010 the project is to be continued with some of the original members and new releases.

MDA

MDA's music is a caleidoscopic world of adventures and a true musical travelogue - the sounds of a heartbeating Batucada with soft and sensual melodies, a multi flavour of Latin, Disco and House. MDA travels the world, listening to the rhythm of the streets, the nightclubs, the airwaves, from Angola to Brazil and India to Japan. MDA is a melting pot of urban European, Latin and African contemporary world music.

MDA' s new tracks are the remixes of "Batucada tropical (Tête à tête)" with brasilian singer Lilian Vieira and the Afrobeat and High-Life groove "Mumudé" with Sloopy Mike Gyamfi, an ancient Ghanian folk song, a jungle's tale for the new generation.

MDA is at present in the studio remixing the old catalogue and creating new releases.
